If we got something wrong
This site scores real companies against their own published pages. Sometimes those pages change and sometimes we misread them. Both are worth fixing.
Write to corrections@hvacmetaadsagency.com and say which page, which score, and what is wrong. You do not need to be polite about it.
What happens next:
- We re-read the source page and record the date we read it.
- If the score changes, it changes, and the page says what changed and when.
- If the score does not change, we tell you which band it fell in and why, so you can argue with the reasoning rather than the number.
- Either way you get an answer within ten working days.
If you have added something since we looked, that is the easiest kind of correction. Several criteria here move a long way on a single published sentence: an attribution window on an existing claim, a minimum ad spend, a documented tracking setup. The method page lists exactly what moves a score.
12 September 2026, before launch: a false zero
Our first Ad Library sweep recorded Contractor Dynamics as running no ads of their own. They were running ten, more than any other company listed. The cause was a Facebook identifier that looks correct and silently breaks the lookup, and it would have put a false statement about a real company on the homepage.
It was caught before publication, the whole sweep was re-run, and the site-wide finding dropped from seven agencies to five as a result. The full account, including the mistake, is on the Ad Library check page rather than buried here, because it is also the most useful thing we know about how to run that check.
12 September 2026, before launch: our own contrast figures
Two accessibility contrast ratios in our design notes were calculated from colour values rather than measured on the rendered page. Measured, they were 6.60 and 5.17 rather than 7.0 and 5.9. Both still passed, so nothing forced the correction except the fact that we dock agencies points for exactly this. Noted on the method page.
